Oh that, i been copped a mongoose big wheel, when i was living in ny sold it before i moved to atl.

Imma cop me a mountain bike for cardio soon tho, a nikka:flabbynsick: something serious right now

All the more reason to ride.

I legit saw a dude that was 280-310 on the trail the other day.

Not clowning at all dude was big. But he was out there riding, keepin his legs moving, working. Can't do nothing but :salute: him.

Did a 45 mile ride today, weather was perfect for it

I fukked up :damn:

The last 1/2 mile of the bike path is a steep incline, so I did it and then called my pops to tell him I did the whole path plus the incline, I guess my fitness tracker said fukk it he's done once I got on my phone and ended my work out tracking:dead:

Bought some 25mm Continental Gatorskin tires

The extra width really made alot of difference to me comfort wise, even mentally as im not scared to weave in and out of traffic while hitting random potholes and bumps compared to them frail looking 23mm tires

I did 50 last week after the rain. Temp was low 40's which ain't nothing because your body heats up.

shyt was Gucci til I rode through some flooded parts of the trail. Shoes soaked, socks soaked.

You asked me about washing my bike? Well now it's mandatory. I still haven't washed it although I've ridden 3 times with mud and shyt caked on it. I used my camelbak to spray water on it and get the major chunks and dirt clods off while I was riding so it ain't bad, but it needs a bath.

My clothes and camelbak are dirty as fukk.

It's crazy I was drifting riding through some mud. I want even pedaling and was rolling straight and the bike started drifting. I was furious that day.

I washed mine last week, degreased and greased up my chain with wd-40 like the guy on GCN does :lupe:

There were a few riders I came across that I can tell were advanced riders cuz they straight up passed by me and smoked me :wtf:

Like 30 seconds and they were outta sight, I'm thinking I'm doing good keeping a steady 20mph like :steviej:

It happens.

Don't take it to heart though.

You might be 40 miles in and they are just 5 miles in.

Steady wins the race. As long as your keeping a good pace and achieving whatever milestone or goal you have that's all that matters.

Thanks, wat would u say is enough nutrition for the bike ride I just did?

I plan on doing that ride often, n just improving my time, I know it's 22 1/2 miles to the end of the bike path now, at mile 12 before it turns left to the ocean path, I got off and drank some water, ate a protein bar, and took the pic of my bike, on my way back at around mile 30 I ate a 6in turkey sub, then ate the other 6in wen I got home, drank around 64oz of water total.

I take my work out vitamins wen I wake up, im also lifting heavy and don't wanna mess up my gains by not eating enough wen I cycle

I drink at least every 20 minutes. I get an alert in my watch that reminds me to drink.

Every 45 mins I eat, fresh fruit, a gel, at least 200 calories

And every 3 hrs I consume protein, which is usually a muscle milk.

I've got interval timers that remind me to drink and eat.

I don't stop to eat I, eat, drink while riding.

I got those times from some cycling mags and articles. They work well for me as far as staying hydrated and not breaking down during a ride. I've neglected drinking and eating more than a few times and it's awful. Everything from during the ride to recovering after the ride.

Thank you, I owe u rep wen I can

Ill do some research myself then, I wanna balance my weight loss with my body building and don't want either to interfere with each other while at the same time getting the max out of both

:salute:strong ride breh.

I'm not a fan of Gatorskins tho. Ride them for a while then cop some GP4000s. Your average speed will probably go up 2 mph fr.
