I'm not a Stan of either player so I'm able to see things from an unbiased viewpoint.

I don't understand LeBron being a better overall player considering Jordan cane closer to averaging a triple double than LeBron as well as winning scoring tittle and defensive player of the year in the same season amongst other things.

Jordan did this without trying to as well. By that I mean he didn't stay in the game trying to pad his stats

Jordan's Bulls faced some of the most forgotten teams of all time in the NBA Finals.

Lebron and the Cavaliers overcame a 3-1 deficit against the 73 win Warriors.

Penny's Magic had a larger accomplishment in your mind?

:gucci:
so we're gonna act like the warriors weren't one suspension away from clinching the title in 2016?

nevermind the fact that LeBron is still 3-6 with two potential half of famers during his Miami run and a legit all star with kyrie?

and you can't say the team's mj faced were forgettable when they won against the Showtime era Lakers, the sun's after Barkley won season mvp, a defense powerhouse in seattle, and the jazz after Malone won season mvp, all this while costly getting smashed while driving to the bucket, must I go on........

I even see some posts here by people supporting Jordan in this debate but yet they wrongfully make concessions. Saying stuff like this. ^^

To me, comments like this just prove that most people who engage in this debate are either barely watched Jordan's career (highlights and watching game 6 of 98 is not WATCHING Jordan), DON'T know what they're talking about. And its fine. Because we debate many things in life when we don't have the facts or are that knowledgable on the topic.

But at least be humble enough to listen and pick up knowledge. I'm in my mid 20's. I never saw Jordan play in his prime. There used to be a time in my life when I thought Lebron was the best of all time and I had never even watched Jordan play!

What I have done however, is get literally in excess of 600+ old Jordan Bulls games from 84-98. And I watched them. And i started to see why Jordan was considered the best athlete of the century by ESPN. And I started to wonder why people even have this absurd debate of Jordan and Lebron for. And its because, they were once ignorant like me.

If you've never invested a second of your life to watch Jordan in his prime ,that is, 87-93, really his absolute prime was 88-90, because he already start to decline a bit in 92 and 93 in my opinion..... If you've never invested your time to watch prime Jordan play then you shouldn't be debating this like you're some expert. Point , blank , period. Its stupid and disingenious.
I'm 38 years old bruh. Watched Jordan in his prime years from about 88/89 until he retired. Bron with the superior rebounding and passing is better all around. Didn't say greater or more dominant just more versatile. The fact that he can guard 4 positions on the court helps too. Jordan is better overall no doubt but Bron with that size does have a slightly better all around game. Sorry if you don't think so but don't ever question my knowledge or what i have witnessed with my eyes. I usually only debate guys i've witnessed play which is why most times i stay out of convos with players from before my time

7.4 is nearly 40% more than 5.3. Fail math brehs. :deadrose:

And MJ played in a faster era too. Per 100 possessions it's 10.0 for LBJ and just 7.0 for MJ.

Or to put it a different way, LeBron assist % for his career is 36.4% and MJ's is just 24.9%.

Those aren't. even. close.

Y'all really need all kinds of percentages and ESPN stats to make a case for Bron :russ:

Like I said...

only cacs and stat nerds stan Bron
He was the one making the stat argument, not me. I just mocked him for being incompetent at it.

Brother really said that 5 assists/game is the same as 7 assists/game.

but going back to what I said earlier in the thread

O.T.I.S. lies about a stat.

Someone posts the actual stat and proves he's lying.

O.T.I.S. screams "stat geek! bronsexual! cac!"

Tell me y'all haven't seen this movie before. :comeon:
Like clockwork. You really need a new m.o. Otis, getting way too predictable.

I'll give you a hint, 90% are Cacs
:mjlol:

FAR more Bron haters are white than Bron fans. That's been proven. White people turned on LeBron with The Decision and half of them never came back, Black folk never turned on him like that. Y'all expose yourselves with this projection shyt.

pretty sure MJ has one of the highest verts ever recorded at 46" :sas1:
You'd be wrong.

MJ's vertical on the standard test was 42". The 46" number comes from this weird shyt some students at North Carolina did where they tracked him from different camera angles and shyt to try to determine his absolute peak jump. Since literally NO one else gets tested that way, you can't use that to compare. That would be like measuring someone's long jump from where they jumped instead of where the line was, or measuring someone's 100m dash time from when they took off rather than when the gun went off.

Why are you acting like the 1990-91 Lakers were "Showtime" when Kareem retired in 89, Pat Riley left in 90, the the Lakers team that lost to the Bulls were ravaged by injuries and were exhausted from years of long playoff runs?
Why are you acting like Barkley's Suns weren't a flash-in-the-pan team that never even reached a Conference Finals after 1993?
Why are you acting like the Utah Jazz weren't a 1 dimensional predictable team with no depth?

Literally the only team that had a realistic chance of beating those Bulls were the Sonics, and they shot themselves in the foot with Karl's decision not to play Payton on Jordan much sooner in the series.

You really think any of those teams would have a chance against the 73-win Warriors?
Must I go on?

Anyone that watches games knows this, they still harping on Bron "clamping" Rose who didn't have a jump shot :mjlol:

I remember one year Kobe started off up there in terms of steals and they asked Phil if he was impressed by Kobe's activity. He said no because the only reason he has more steals is because his bad knee had him sitting back trying to get in the passing lane instead of playing D :russ:

I remember that shyt :deadmanny:
