Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Do we have such short memory guys? Dirk SWEPT the world champion Lakers, 5 gamed the Thunder, then dismissed the Heat... without another allstar...

People just want to point to his failures against the Heat in 06 and the Warriors in 07, they don't remember how he went at Duncan (PBUH) in 06 and beat the Spurs in game 7 IN San Antonio. Had that 3 point play to send it to OT and finished with 37/15. He's always been a great playoff performer, he's come up short in some instances just like every other player before him.

I hate this fukking statement.

They might not have actually BEEN All-Stars, but you can't tell me that Jason Terry and Tyson Chandler weren't playing like they WERE All-Stars during that playoff run. And Jason Kidd was playing like he belonged on the All-Defensive team.

Dirk was clearly the leader and main component of that squad, but he's starting to get A.I.-in-'01 levels of love for that run.

Amazing what one championship can do for someone's legacy. 2 years ago he was a choker, now he was leading no talent Dallas squads on amazing playoff runs where he always stepped up :usure:

This is hilarious. They act like Dirk hasn't played on the most stacked offensive teams his entire tenure in the league.

Where he ranks tho? Hmmm good player, very good player, one of the best shooters (also hinders his place as a big man). Is he a better shooter or scorer that would propel him above anyone on the Top 50? Nope

Dirk played without a lot of weapons, but those weapons are not weapons on any other team in the league. Dirk's presence made life for the rest of that team much much easier.

Dirk's run in his championship year is legendary whether y'all want to admit it or not. He even had a flu game!!

That's because Dirk had one of the great playoff runs of all-time in '11. I've never seen a guy hit damn near every big shot in what seemed like every single game in the playoffs before. It felt like he shot 80% in 4th quarters.

I remember when he was roasting the Lakers they showed a stat of how he shot when Gasol was guarding him and it really was like 75-80%. He was just :mindblown: that entire postseason. That was a Jordan-like run he had. KG's never done anything close to that.

That was a great run but Terry was the MVP of the last couple Finals games and kept them in those games when Dirk was shooting poorly. If Terry didn't go off like he did in those games they would've lost that series, no question.

Dirk would be around #25-30 on my list and I don't think he's above KG, prime for prime. What KG just did in this last playofff run was incredible and he would have another ring if Stern doesn't hand Miami game 2 with FORTY SEVEN free throws.
