saw that sh!t live. he was singing "tell me what you want me to do," got to that high note at the end of the bridge and sh!t the bed.
he hit that bum note and it was a wrap. no more castrato for you buddy.
as far as his career. he had those two features on prince & quincy albums before he even dropped. had those two classic albums back to back. then he dropped a dud in 96. but he had a mini-comeback in the making, with his underrated self-titled 4th album in 99 but became his last because he bobby valentino'd himself with that undercover policeMAN. after that, he fell back and started doing broadway lol.
with all that said, he is still probably one of, if not the most successful child act of the 90s, and he actually had a pretty good standing, legacy wise, before acts like 1st ginuwine and then usher redefined the standards of the genre, late in the decade.
