I think the fight would've ended on the 2nd knockdown if Wilder was dominating Fury after the 1st knockdown...

I seen Wilder fight before too but I didn't expect him took like he was trying to read Mandarin...
Honestly this is biggest thing. Fury had him looking like Tyrese doing math half of the fight. Those knockdowns were critical

I don't even think he won the round where he got the first knockdown either

Wilder is who I wanted to win but.... man

crazy shyt tonight is most refs wouldn't even TRY to give a fighter a count after that second knockdown

Exactly. And you can really make a case for Rd 9 being 9-8 Wilder, instead of 10-8. He was getting schooled that entire round, save the knockdown.

Breh...

You tell me...

A fighter could be getting their ass whipped for 8 rounds straight...

And you gonna call it a draw because they got two lucky ass hits...

If Wilder couldn't finish after the first knock down and the second knock down and he still getting two pieced after both knock down...

He loss...

But Wilder wasn't getting his ass whipped. Tyson was mostly SPARRING throughout the fight. It'll be different had Tyson really hurt Wilder at any point aside from bruising his eye. It is extremely rare for ANY FIGHT where one gets knock down hard twice...while the other won really not hurt and the person who's nor really hurt loses. The judges take everything into consideration, not just solely who's the more accurate puncher. Had it not been for the 2nd and more serious knock down, yea... Tyson should of won... but that 2nd knock down which should of been a KO played a huge factor.

Alejandro Rochin needs to be taken out back

:scust: @ Wilder winning the first 4 rounds on his card.

How can you even justify his card with Tapper giving 5 out the first 6 rounds to Tyson and the other judge giving 4 out of the first 6 rounds to Tyson.

Boxing needs to just have 5 judges, shyt fukk it, do 10 judges and have a weighted average and or some system to flat out throw away egregious score cards. This is ridiculous.

It’s actually an indictment on the heavyweight division. Wilder would not even be in the top 20 30/20 years ago with his technique.
This is not true. I actually used to like Boxing back then and watch a lot of fights in those days. Wilder from the fights I've seen looked good in any era. He looked good at times tonight which is normal for a blockbuster fight

Wilder won at least 4 rounds + the 2 knockdowns which would be a draw on a single card

HOW THE fukk ARE YALL SAYING ITS A ROBBERY, U WOULDNT GIVE WILDER 4 ROUNDS :patrice:

Yea people acting like Fury had both Wilder's eyes swollen shut in a complete dismantlement ala Mayweather vs. Berto or some shyt when in reality Fury spent half of his time feinting and bobbing and taunting in place without landing anything of any consequence in multiple rounds. These were the final stats of the fight:

The way the "purists" talking about this you'd think Fury outlanded Wilder 3 to 1; in reality all he did was land a handful of punches more, none of them anywhere near as damaging as the 2 knockdowns Wilder landed. You could also score the first couple of rounds where both guys were feeling each other out and didn't land anything of significance as 10-10 rounds; combine that with the 2 10-8 knockdown rounds for Wilder and a draw is far from an impossible conclusion. Too many people getting sucked up in all the commentators fellating Fury when half of his jabs and hooks were being blocked by Wilder's gloves and arms while Wilder when he did actually land was usually hitting him clean, especially when he went to the body. Fury's offense didn't open up with those clean 1-2s through the guard of Wilder until over halfway through the fight, which is why his power % is so much higher than his total striking %; he didn't commit to anything with any power behind it until he was fully comfortable and that didn't happen until fairly late in the fight. The 115-111 Wilder scorecard is indefensible garbage, but overall I'd say there's been more controversial boxing decisions this year alone.

Nope.

I said previously in another thread; Fury beats Wilder, Joshua beats Fury and Wilder beats Joshua. A plodding come forward fighter like AJ is tailor-made for a Fury overhand right. Fury was always going to be a problem due to his movement.

Don't agree, not any more, AJ is improving and he will beat Wilder

It shouldn't have been a KO, that was a super accurate count...and Fury was pointing Wilder to death and hit him with flush shots throughout the fight while Wilder barely touched him outside of 2 rounds.

Saying Wilder was even close to winning this fight is like saying you take a 20 question and you get everything right but you miss 2 question thus you should fail...

Now way anybody should've had Wilder winning the fight 115 to 111 or whatever it was...

Wilder was looking stupid the entire fight just throwing wild punches at nothing.

Get all the way the fukk outta here :camby:

He was out on the right, left just pushed him over. The right hit him on the ear and shook his brain stem freezing the legs

Joshua right now would win UD but I think wilder will grow from this fight because this was one of his few fights where he wasn’t 100% confident

Speak it, believe it, receive it
