Naw platinum fubu(fat Albert) was still going strong until about 03
So why is Polo in TJ Maxx yet that still seems to thrive?
naw the Muhammed ali shyt killed it. the fat albert shyt came before that.Yeah people was still rocking Fubu in 2000 and 2001 with the baseball and football jerseys. When they started putting Muhammad Ali on their stuff a lot of people chilled out on them but when Fat Albert showed up on clothing it was a WRAP!

My mom bought me a Snoop Dogg jean suit for Christmas one year.
We did support it though. It started getting wack when they started putting Muhammad Ali and Fat Albert on their clothing but at that point though the brothers had sold the company so it really wasn't For Us By Us anymore. They had some really nice dress suits though.
What's the name of it? I want to check it out. This, we very weII DID support them. I didn't know about them selling the company til years later though, but the falloff of a lot of these urban brands was very apparent. Netflix has a special detailing urban brands last year and it was very good, especially talking about it's decline once eeeeeeeevery rapper saturated the game starting clothing lines

Snoop slippers repping for #SDSET so you can lounge while watching Smaccdown.
Feel you bruh. Not looking down at either of those stores cause like you said sometimes you can find some nice name brand shyt in there. And I think it is just using common sense if you can get the same shirt out of Marshalls for 40 bucks that will be 85 out the mall. Just wanted to know how some shyt is seen as dead once it hits those type of stores shelves.TJ Maxx and Marshall's do get dope brands sometimes... it all depends on what the major department stores stock, or what they don't have room for, or what gets sent back to the factory, etc.
I don't buy much regular wardrobe there but I get most of my gym clothes at those places. If you dig deep enough they got a lot of dope Nike/Adidas shorts and shirts there.
