There's credence to that: the solstice/equinox and holidays around them. pretty much any holiday is dependent on calendar/sun.

But the real worship is money. We see it, touch it, and witness it's impact in our daily lives and struggles without. It transcends race and religion. You might spend a couple hours in worship, maybe the day if you're one of those deeply devoted folks but 40 hours of your week is going to work... for money.
