The nikka picked Cash Money when people thought they were dead, upped his skills many times over dropped C1 a few mixtapes then C2 none of them scored any hit singles, that were pushed to radio on any major scale etc Go Dj was big but that was of street hype like Jeezys soul survivor or 50s Wanksta, a few mixtapes more and mad features, tours whatever the fukk basically took over the internet and in 08 he was arguably the biggest star in music.

Waynes rise is a perfect example of grinding hard as fukk and it paying off.

i hated wayne until the carter dropped which i ended up buying for my sister because she loved that nikka, this is the same day hunger for more dropped which i also copped and literally played out, after i got tired of bumping that i gave the carter a chance and it made me a fan.

shyt is crazy I remember very clearly searching the internet for any lil wayne song, feature or whatever. my mp3 player had over 700 lil wayne songs, probably more. At one point everything he spit was just hot. I never thought it'd get to the point where this nikka drops some shyt and I literally couldn't give a fukk if I tried. i been a wayne fan since 500 degrees and i feel like lyrically wayne aint that much different from what he used to be...its just that back then his delivery,voice,and style was way rawer and serious then the style and delivery he usin now. the tone and pitch of his voice these days is too kiddie and all fcked up
