From what @Methodical was saying - sounds like they watered down some significant details in the documentary because I don't remember some of the talking points that people are bringing up on social media. I think the documentary from 2012 was on PBS, where they tend to make it for a

I would watch the documentary first which I think would help you a lot, especially with the discrepancies in the boys’ stories- to see the actual tapes and how much the story changed. Then watch this series cause it's way more graphics, more details especially to see dramatization of prison life, especially for Korey, was truly heartbreaking. I don’t even know how he survived.

Got damn. I got shook at the end when the kids all reflected back at what they were doing while the rape was taking place and now all of a sudden they got manipulated into telling them they were involved
