Great topic. Many of mine have already been named but I'd like to add two that I still watch because the trailers are so dope even though the movies were so fukking disappointing.

I still love Miami Vice, but only because it's so bad it's good. This teaser trailer way back when had me thinking it would be a classic.
I thought this was going to be an updated version of the tv show, they might as well changed the title of the movie because it had Jack shyt to with the original Miami Vice.
See I love that movie. But I’d agree the trailer is better
It’s just like the first season of the show. So it is an updated version. First season of Miami vice is a gritty cop show with Miami gloss

only because the actual movie is so god damn fukking stupid, stupidest fukking "twist" in recent years
Biggest disservice Mann did was call it Miami Vice. If we went into it expecting a noir crime flick about 2 undercover cops not named Crockett and Tubbs the receptio woulda been very different.
