Two sith with an army of untold thousands/millions behind them.
They literally had no help at the time they went into hiding. A few low level jedi scattered across the galaxy and a couple politicians...they weren't beating that army in a fight. THey had to wait until a group with enough size and skills could be formed to go against the empire
Luke however had a whole army ready to fight at his command, so he was just a fakkit

Yoda went into exile because he lost his fight with emperor palpatine and It was his decision to promote Anakin from Padawan to Jedi night; we know how that turned out so it was kinda his fault.
Obi Wan was on secret mission to watch over Luke as he grew up on Tatooine.

Not sure if they were retarded or if their vision was that fukked up but thinking Anakin would bring balance was half true.. But the Sith were plotting

Luke's running away cannot be justified. Low key, none of the others can as well. They're all just hiding on the hopes that a plan with a low rate of success actually works. 
But back to Luke... They go thru the trouble of Rey finding him (remember he left behind clues so he could be found) only for him to be like
when she showed up. It was so obvious with the dialog that Rian Johnson thought all this Jedi shyt was silly. "What you expect one man with a laser sword to take on an entire fleet?!?" Yes muhfukka. Or at least rally the troops you bish ass nikka.

Yoda snuck into Sidious' chamber, who didn't even know he was still alive. After their fight the place got flooded by troopers. At that point they lost the only chance they had, the element of surprise.
Now the whole galaxy knew Yoda was alive and there would be an army looking for him wherever he stepped foot, there wasn't going to be an unobstructed path to Sidious again. Let's not forget Yoda was
, so who knows how much that fight took out of him

only watch it in small bites when I'm bored with nothing to do

Shyt is piff imo, most of Clone Wars comes from ideas George simply couldn't fit into movies. Rebels is all Disney but it's pretty good as well.
