ppl forget mothafukkers were comparing prime jordan to clyde in 1992. both were explosive, high flying high scoring mutants.

Where would you rank Dominique?:russ:

:(womp-womp:(

this dude makes a fool out of himself in every thread.

:wow:
this is how you know people in thecoli arent real basketball fans. they dont even know what positions legendary players played.

Quick test.

Dr. J 6'6" what position did he play?

i just saw some random jordan rider in here talking about how jordan got his 1st ring over the blazers.

didnt even know what he was talking about. he prolly just came in here to ride mike.

this nikka is tripping!!!

Dikembe Mutombo in the 2001 Finals >>> Shaq in the 2006 Finals.

hell... Dikembe Mutombo was as good of a player as Shaq in 2006 if anything.

best defender in the NBA, lead the NBA in offensive rebounding, 14/14/3 in the post season, outplayed by Shaq but still averaged 17/13 in the FInals.

youre white. dont call me "n*gga".

and hell no. i mean, defensively yea. but he wasnt better than an '06 shaq overall..

i remember mutombo making sixers fans go :snoop: whenever he touched the ball in that series. theres people that still bring up their frustrations over that.

and he didnt outplay shaq in those dam finals. what games were you watching?:why:

Drexlers Blazer's team was more stacked than Jordan's Bulls.

he didn't win because he wasn't on Zeke, Magic, nor Jordan's level. plain and simple.

Drexler is more of a Scottie Pippen than Jordan so that why he won a titles as a "Pippen" when he was playing for the Rockets.

you act as if zeke, magic & jordan won titles on their own.

you can say that pippen was better than drexler. WITH THAT SAID, you can say that the best 2 players in that series were jordan & pippen. and that the 4th best player was horrace grant.

thats an unstoppable tri-fecta when the rest of the team plays their positions perfectly. dont sleep on the rest of that bulls teams.

the same reason why rasheed & old pippen had a stacked blazers squad and couldnt overtake shaq & kobe's lakers about a decade later. DE JA VU.

you can? :smh: naw lets not go all the way out there. drexler was superior to pippen in every way on offense. pippen was superior to drexler in every on defense. ultimately i would try to build a team around the offensive player. so i'd go with drexler.

whether you agree or not, you know that theyre sitting in the same row.

and you most likely agree with my point.

He wasn't as good as Kobe or Wade, stop it, you overrate every dude from the 80s and 90s.

I bet you think Kelly Tripucka would lead the league in scoring today.

Did clyde drexler play with the same calibert of players wade and kobe played with?

The Blazers team that lost in the finals was loaded compared to the 06 Heat, stop coming up with excuses for your childhood memories. I don't even understand how someone that could watch this nikka Clyde dribble with his head down and say with a straight face that he's on the same level as Wade or Kobe.

Clyde was a great player but is overshadowed by Mike. Clyde was a beast.

The fact that Drexler is like a footnote in NBA history just goes to prove how overrated the "Jordan Era" truly was.

in all fairness tho, the '06 heat didnt have to defeat teams like the bulls, bad boys & showtime.

Anyway, Clyde isn't even on Wade's level IMO.

Terms of SGs he's probably 5th or 6th depending on if you decide to put AI over him.

1. Jordan
2. Bryant
3. West
4. Wade
5/6. Drexler/Iverson

:ehh: i can agree with that assessment. i'd prolly put him over iverson for the long term stabililty. Clyde was a good player for about 15 season and a decent player for his whole career. Iverson was a good player for about 11 or 12 seasons and an awful player at certain points.
