When Ma$e came back to Hip Hop in 04' with his "Welcome Back" album, what did you think at the time?

Thought he was a clown bc i read his book. He was shytting all over hip-hop and rappers...calling it satans music. Every return of Mase has been more and more embarassing...

with that said tho, he bodied Cam on his last return

Thought it was weird at first but looking back now the song ain't bad. The G-Unit Murda Mase was also weird but he was back rapping fire though.

You didn't listen to Ma$e's music back in the late 90's?

I didn’t like him back in the 90s either, the first thing I thought was “why the hell did they use this sample when AZ and Onyx already killed it?”

But at the time, when the "Welcome Back" single was out and the video was getting some play, what did you all think at the time?




And then he dropped the "Breathe, Stretch, Shake" single

My mom copped it for me bc it was a "clean" album lol. Ma$e was spitting on Breath, stretch, shake.
