I forgot to include Liam Neeson. Taken was a modern day classic with quotables people are faimiliar with. Hell Drive was more impactful than anything Dwayne has done up to this point. Those movies you named don't justify his spot.

you named one movie. the reality is action movies fell off after the 90s. and so did action movie stars. I don't really care about "justifying" his spot. the man making more money than almost anyone in hollywood, and he's not white. thats fine for me. a non white guy can make mediocre movies and still make money like his name was adam sandler, thats a win.

Rock is fine, he has a lane that he's smartly capitalizing in on now and acting aint like sports or the rap game, he can act till he's 70.

He has plenty of time to switch up when the time comes

The ironic thing is the one movie I mentioned is more than the movie I'm waiting for The Rock to have. You bring up Sandler but fail to mention the hits he had at some point of his career which keeps on affording him opportunities whether justified or not. You must think if John Cena was getting over on this level that I would be cool with it
