When I watch Giannis play, I dont see a 2x MVP at age 25

Middleton is overcompensating for Giannis being skillless. He’s the only one trying

Giannis needs to half court creator next to him ie Booker/Harden/Beal. Middleton can't make it happen at the level needed to win a championship.

Bron had the same problem before he teamed up with Wade.

We used to complain about his halfcourt offense, lack of post game, outside shooting etc. but with the right players he turned into Thanos. Same can happen for Giannis.

I've been saying for years now in today's NBA stars who can't shoot reliably beyond 20 feet are going to be amazing the regular season and get exposed come playoff time what helps Giannis is that he is also a very good defender, but even if you give this guy a second shooter, until he gets a better jumpshot this going to be the end result. Playoff runs ending in round 1 or 2.

How can nikkas still blame Giannis when his number 2 is Middleton. We know what Giannis is, he is a big with some wing skills. He isn’t a shooter. That doesn’t mean he isn’t a great player. He needs his teammates to perform up to par. He did what he was supposed to do first game. Last game he wasn’t as aggressive as he should’ve been but I can’t say he was just straight ass. If you want Giannis to be a wing player, it won’t happen.

You blaming everybody except one dimensional Giannis. Middleton attempted 5 more shots than Giannis and was attacking all different angles. Yeah, that's the problem.

No player is multi-dimensional enough to compensate for a #2's lack of talent and win. Giannis has plenty of weaknesses but in the right environment he's as dominant as any great.

We've seen this same story throughout NBA history.

How he won defensive player of the year/mvp in the same season still puzzles me. He is someone who surpassed expectations from where he was drafted, but he just isn't that dude. Second best player on a championship team.​

The other thing people forget Middleton is an excellent defender at the position too.
