I respect the OP for the courage behind this thread. I understand how difficult it can be to try and put people on through witnessing.

I think that a lot of us try to hard to rationalize and place logic behind the things of God and His word. The bible says His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. That means that we will never be able to understand why some things happen and why some things don't happen.

Slavery, death, etc. When you choose to be vengeful and hateful over things like that, you deny yourself wisdom and opportunity to understand how God works. Vengeance belongs to God.

If some of us would actually seek first the kingdom of God, our understanding would be increased. You can't comprehend spirituality with your physical eyes and minds. Two different things.
