You can't prove ANYONE existed that far back in time. All you can do is form an opinion based on evidence. The evidence points to his existence.​

If you have read the Bible then you will know that Jesus didn't really mind what people called him as long as they acknowledged him as the Son of God. There was a woman who called him 'son of David' and she was not reproached by him. Ergo, calling him by the corrupted form of his name will not prevent you from going to heaven, especially as it's original form is very hard for the average English speaker to pronounce.
