Christianity predates Jesus, and Jesus wasnt a Christian, his name could not have been Jesus (letter J is 600 years old), there were Christs before Jesus, the Jesus Christ concept is a creation of the Nicene Council in 325 AD. Christians continue to believe anyway because faith.
