You are acting like every red solitary cent in the Black community is being spent on the church. with a spending power of 1.1. Trillion Dollars we are capable of doing a lot. Hell I could just as easily say If we didn't buy as much junk food, or didn't spend money on anything other than necessities etc...we could invest 10 percent of money into the youth.

I get it you all don't like church, but lets not act like its some huge drain on the community. Especially since at least Churches provide food and rent assistance.

now to the point you're trying to make. yes on average most people will be whatever religion their parents are, which will usually be more like what most people are in the area they are from or live in currently. But its not about that. its not about how you start, its about how you finish.
and for the record. its actually not about CHRISTIANITY as a religion. i know some so called christians dont comprehend this either. its actually about Christ not the religion. its about follow that example and praying to God directly with Jesus as your cover(or some may call it defense attorney).

Christianity should = a group of people that agree with what the bible says and has accepted Jesus into their lives as their lord and savior. no more and no less. where things get murky is when you get to talking about if sinners are repenting for their sins, if sinners even admit they are sinning(gay christians, straight adulterers that act like it aint what it is, etc)
