When gentrification kicks in down south, where are all the black people gonna go?

I think the suburbs are better for Blacks. More spread out and gives us a bit more time to get our heads right and cut out the anxiety. Start our own businesses and so on.

Do you know what Clayton County is?...and used to be? :pachaha:

ClayCo ain't shyt compared to what the projects were. Section 8 moving these folks into the suburbs definitely mitigates a lot since people aren't right on top of each other.

Money and race are damn near the same thing in this country.

Depends where you're talking about, but I still largely disagree.

There are just certain elements that money alleviates that race can't account for.

Yes, there are places that self-segregate, but money (and certain views on life and culture) do more to transform an area than race sometimes.

We're about to REALLY see what classism(sp?) is in the 21st century.

Don't get me wrong, money is the vehicle that makes all of this shyt happen, but race dynamics is an affect of that antecedent. Cities will be largely White plutocrats and the outskirts for Brown folk. I think self segregation can help us get back on the right path, instead of being low wage, menial, service industry slaves for said plutocrats.

ehhhhh.

I'll breach the segregation comment later, but money first and foremost is making those changes.

I can't speak for elsewhere, but in the South money is equalizing a lot of previously overt aspects of "racism."
