It's already started. "Mid-town" was/is 4th ward, Almeda, etc...All the inner loop surrounding areas are going to be reclaimed. My parents live in a neighborhood that was considered "black river oaks" their property value wasn't as high as the same type of neighborhood right across the street though because it was mostly black. I believe my mom said 13-15 white families have moved in. She is remodeling their house, her contractor was just telling her how the property values are going up in the neighborhood.
When gentrification kicks in down south, where are all the black people gonna go?

Gentrification happens when the wealthy invade communities that had been inhabited by people of a lower socioeconomic status. People from the northern part of the city might start moving to the southern part etc. Gentrification cant/wont change a region. Hurricane Katrina couldn't even get us out of the South. The only time I can remember a mass exodus of black people from a region was the great migration ( and even that was due to special circumstances)

i would say most if not all black problems stem from being poorif the ones who could do something about it come back and build up, alot of shyt could get solved

I kind of agree but there would definitely be some casualties plus nikkas is too greedy to share the wealth. They need 5 lambos instead of building a student center in their old hood or whatever.
