I think the reason fans people are so pissed off about Weeds, is because for the first 3 seasons it was a GREAT, top tier show. If it would've continued on that level we would be talking about a top 10 series possibly. Still I watched all 8 seasons. And still have it in my top 15 series of all time, because the first 4 seasons (in my opinion) were so strong. I'm gonna re-watch it this weekend.

The supporting characters like Conrad, Heylia, Andy, Celia, and Doug had great chemistry with Nancy and other cast members.

That's exactly it, show went so far left it was crazy. The only watchable season after the first 4 to me was the season on the road....everything else

Season 3 is very strong. I think it peaked early but they made some good developments late to keep it active and alive

Edit: yo if this wasn't a cash cow, Kohan could've easily made this a series finale and made the other 5 seasons a spinoff.

I watched the first 5 or 6 seasons, but like EVERYONE has said, that show went into the crapper when agrestic burned down and they axed all the black characters from the show as well in the process.

last couple season, I tried to watch em on netflix, but they were fukking UNWATCHABLE nonsense. like they were hiding out in portland or some shyt. just stupid as hell.

Season 4 is extremely overhated....I genuinely don't see how it's considered so bad. Sure a huge portion of the actual interesting characters left along with the black people, but this season isn't horrible.

2. Season 3
3. Season 4
4. Season 1

P.S Nancy in season 4 is more annoying than Piper in season 3

I think I'm far enough in to see how this shyt fell off, the cast got FAR too repetitive, they didn't introduce anyone genuinely interesting like an U-Turn or any of the bytches Silas was fukking with. They relied on the same cast to produce the same humor over and over again, which got stale. I'm on S5 and I can tell how this gonna go for the other 3 seasons.
