Damn let Carson Wentz eat brehs.. Let the small schools get a little taste of the gigantic football puzzle. Ya'll big school toutin' jackazzes get all the pub, prime time games, special segments, 5 star recruits, college gameday, that big Lee Corso and kirk Herbstreit co-sign, Paul Finebaum backing, biggest bowls, biggest paydays, etc.. but one small school quarterback seeping through the cracks has got ya'll like

Do you watch college football?

Absolutely. I've seen Goff play including one of his worst games against Utah...... It should be noted UTAH also had one of the best defenses in the country. The talent is there he has all the tools, and remember Cal is a dogshyt team. That defense was trash all year so he had to carry them in every game. They were giving up 30 ppg in conference.

As a fan of teams that play in the AAC and ACC... trust me I know what shyt QB's look like.

If you want to make the argument that he's a product of Sunny Dykes high powered offense rather than his own natural talent.... That's an entirely different conversation.

Calling him "trash" though is completely ridiculous. There's no metric that supports that opinion.

Here's my thing with Wentz. Where is this footage of his dominant performance or performances that has him skyrocketing? I just want to see some samples of the body of work that has propelled him so high. He may turn out to be great, but the media really helped his draft position. He was pretty much considered a late 1st to early 2nd rounder a couple of months back and it was all about Goff and Lynch, and then all of a sudden he starts rising up draft boards and I never really saw the performances that turned so many heads.

Bruh Goff is trash :pachaha:
1. He's in a system that promotes big numbers. So throw those all the way out
2. Spread system QBs are trash 9/10 times
3. His ball placement is iffy
4. He sucked against good teams

1. I understand what Sunny Dykes high powered offensive system is. He learned it from Mike Leach during his Texas Tech days.

You just keep posting stuff without actually looking up. It's all opinionated garbage.

2. That's just false. It's not even close to true. Not into today's NFL.
Russell Wilson played in a spread(NC State) and then Pro Style(Wisconsin) in college.
Cam Newton spread
Matt Ryan Spread
Phillip Rivers Spread
Derrick Carr spread
Colin Kapernick pistol
Ben Rothlisberger spread
Drew Brees Spread
Andy Dalton Spread

If you go by espn's QBR 4 of the top 5 passers in 2015 all played in spread offenses in college

3. NFL scouts seem to think that's a fixable problem.

4. He had bad game against Utah, but other than this is just more crap you're throwing against the wall to see what sticks. His games against Washington, USC, Stanford, and UCLA aren't bad by any measure. Those are 4 of the top 5 PAC 12 defenses in terms of points allowed per game. I'll save you the trouble of actually looking it up because we both know you don't like facts or stats.

I never understood the hype. Maybe because it was a weak QB draft. He played high school competition. I don't see what is so amazing about him.
