Just a correction in terminology FCS is NOT D2, it is still D1

I just don't understand (but I don't know how folks like to pretend) this guy went second and ole boy from OSU (who beat bama) went after him later in the draft LOL

All black QBs in college are better at the position than whites..and I can't understand why these black QBs don't put pressure on this racist ass league
Nfl is played in the pocket that is not many black qb strength. It's a different game in college

McNair was also in the running for Heisman at little bitty ole Alcorn (think about that)

ESPN came to itty bitty Mississippi back when there was no social media and huge platform that they have now..

McNair and Flacco coming outta those schools are not the same folk....
McNair at Alcorn was like a fukking spectacle because he was just too damn good to ignore. All I would hear was air mcnair this, air mcnair that and I had never seen him play or a highlight clip of him. He was a phenom. You can't use his name and Wentz in the same sentence,,

I'm not saying just b/c he went to a non-D1 school he's no good.....but wouldn't he have at least transferred to a bigger school if he was that good? If he was even concerned about the NFL? Couldn't he have played immediately after transfer b/c it's a non-D1 school?

But dude played his entire career against sub-par collegiate talent. While your school is the Alabama of Division 2, playing against mostly cupcakes. They got up for one game against an average D1 team every year or so. But week to week, he's throwing against DB's who probably have no chance at playing in the NFL. Dudes who were slow to break on the ball. D-lineman who were probably slow/unable to get off blocks, etc.

Anybody can look good at a combine throwing against the air.

Hope he pans out. :yeshrug: But I just don't see the logic.
I see what you're saying.... I went to everyone of Steve McNair's home games from his freshman year to his senior year(parents are alumni)... He was a straight up man among boys... Team started going 0-11 once he left... He turned out pretty good... Everything you're saying about Wentz was said about Steve... But we'll see.

He fits the part and has tools that the scouts love. It's not that hard to see why he hype started but I have no idea exactly when it started.

:what:

Post me his NFL stats to PROVE my arguments as "meaningless"

He literally went from throwing just above high school talent to now elite DB's. He's literally gonna see guys who are 2-3x better than he faced in college.

If NDSU played Alabama or Oklahoma or Clemson.....how well do you think Carson Wentz would've played? Jared Goff looked like trash much of the year and it was ignored.

Uhhhhhhhh you don't throw have 64.5% completion percentage, 4700 passing yards, 43 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions by looking like trash a majority of the fukking year.

We not accustomed to standing round and waiting to get hit like White people.
They too fast the safety and linebacker in nfl and they too big to try to run on so it doesn't work. U have to be more of a stationary and run only when needed so u don't get hurt. Also be accurate the receiver arent open in nfl

Right?
McNair was one of the best college QB's by October/November.- almost unanimously.

Conversely, most of us didnt even know of Carson Wentz until 8 weeks ago. Hell I didnt even know of North Dakota State University until 8 weeks ago:heh:
