Combine and private workouts, dude is trash though.
Didn't even dominate friggin d2, if your big and white, why play d1 football and struggle against sec type defenses when you can go d2
Boykin got picked up by Seattle though.

nobody is saying thisunder this logic Joe Flacco & Steve McNair shouldn't have been drafted.
What is this thread saying then?nobody is saying this
Ben was atleast a Division 1A guy this Wentz guy didnt even play a full season this past season in the sub-division if Im not mistaken and went #2 overall
under this logic Joe Flacco & Steve McNair wouldn't have made it to the NFL

NDSU can easily win the MAC, the MAC is a glorified FCS Conference plus NDSU did beat a couple Power 5 schools. To answer the question though, I think the hype began in 2014, it was small hype but hype. It really got big after the Montana game (which NDSU lost).

It's impossible to say really, wouldn't surprise me if he was a bum, very average, or very good. He's got the measurables you'd want, it's on the Eagles to develop himwell you could've read the first line of the OP
"I'm not saying just b/c he went to a non-D1 school he's no good"
I'm not saying every non D1 QB is a bum....I'm just discussing his qualifications. Every case is different.
