People with that level of wealth and success all have “opps”, whether they’re opposition or opportunists. Drake has wolves around him, just like Jay-Z, Floyd Mayweather etc. Its a necessity when you have things other people would kill or die for.

He's able to live out his fantasies in a pseudo legitimate fashion because of his money and connections. The rap game/life has an obsession with gangsterism and vicariously living through mob archetypes. Drake is the biggest guy in the rap game so it's not surprising he's taken on this mold. Everyone is fascinated by the mobster life in some ways, it's just when you're in rap it's a very watered down variation of it due to the players, risk, money and beef. So they just ramp it up for their own entertainment until it's not entertainment anymore and someone does get hurt or killed.... Which eventually happens almost 100% of the time. Instead of backing off or learning from it, the murders and bloodshed add to the delusion and fantasy of having an actual mobb life because the rap shyt turned into some Street shyt momentarily. All rappers do this, it's just Drake's turn at being fantastically and delusionally obsessed with chaos, greed and turmoil to harden an image he doesn't even need to...

fukking brilliant deduction sir. Clap for em'

SOHH ICEY N.O.
Know some Somalis that say we got it wallahi
Get us donuts and coffee, we'll wait for him in the lobby
And I gotta tell him chill, Sprite got me on payroll
Let that man live, they say, "Okay if you say so"
See whatever I say go

I was legit shocked by this bar it was so hard lol. But yea around that period his music went less emo and more gangsta. But when you got money you can call shots.

Wayne from the hood and came up around real street dudes though. Basically grew up around Baby and em he’s waaaaaaaaaaay closer to that street shyt than drake

I remember one time when Wayne told Drake to not talk about no gangsta shyt in his content, this was back around 2010/2011 if I remember correctly.

Why? He’s the biggest artist in the world lol. With more hits then anybody in the history of music.
it's the main point of detractors & the main ammunition in battles

authenticity is armor

he'd have the same hits without the fraudulent fake tough posing

it's like will.smith slipping & trying to drop some g shyte

& to be real will from philly he's tougher just off the strength ha

I dont know why we gotta draw a line at him

Hood or not...being from the hood aint comparable to the streets..short of foster care n shelters homelessness n shyt.

Street shyt is its own lil cult...them lines separating hood squares to those out there like that are VERY clear.....outside of entertainment
