People with that level of wealth and success all have “opps”, whether they’re opposition or opportunists. Drake has wolves around him, just like Jay-Z, Floyd Mayweather etc. Its a necessity when you have things other people would kill or die for.
He's able to live out his fantasies in a pseudo legitimate fashion because of his money and connections. The rap game/life has an obsession with gangsterism and vicariously living through mob archetypes. Drake is the biggest guy in the rap game so it's not surprising he's taken on this mold. Everyone is fascinated by the mobster life in some ways, it's just when you're in rap it's a very watered down variation of it due to the players, risk, money and beef. So they just ramp it up for their own entertainment until it's not entertainment anymore and someone does get hurt or killed.... Which eventually happens almost 100% of the time. Instead of backing off or learning from it, the murders and bloodshed add to the delusion and fantasy of having an actual mobb life because the rap shyt turned into some Street shyt momentarily. All rappers do this, it's just Drake's turn at being fantastically and delusionally obsessed with chaos, greed and turmoil to harden an image he doesn't even need to...
Wayne from the hood and came up around real street dudes though. Basically grew up around Baby and em he’s waaaaaaaaaaay closer to that street shyt than drake
After NWTS, dude just changed into a completely different person.
mans would've been better off listening to tune*I remember one time when Wayne told Drake to not talk about no gangsta shyt in his content, this was back around 2010/2011 if I remember correctly.
Why? He’s the biggest artist in the world lol. With more hits then anybody in the history of music.mans would've been better off listening to tune*
