basically already covered

A lot of kingpins, killers, thugs were civilians once even going into their 20s, 30s, 40s

Not sayin he any of that, but gettin into the rap game and goin to the top will put u around shady cats

Havin these nikkaz around u all the time protectin u will have u get into the street shyt they into

U can tell he smart and he tries to evade any of that bullshyt but from time to time u will get caught up

N he got money, not like he needs to get his hands dirty, he's the money maker, there are mad street nikkaz lined up tryin to get close to him to secure that bag

When Pusha T made him feel like a child and he realised how corny he is

Along with a lot of his fanbase who identify with him getting the mirror put on themselves as well. Drake’s corniness and insecurities getting a spotlight exposed his fans to the same thing. That’s why they get so defensive in these threads.

Wayne from the hood and came up around real street dudes though. Basically grew up around Baby and em he’s waaaaaaaaaaay closer to that street shyt than drake
This is very true however Wayne turning blood wasn't out of necessity and him turning blood led to younger generation of " fashionable" young hipster blood rappers.
Drake being from Toronto I'm assuming sooner or later he had to put on for his people or those in Toronto that was part of the scene that are official since that's his home base however he didn't promote gang culture lifestyle like Lil Wayne did for that period of time when Lil Wayne was at his height.

Of course Drake could've stayed simply the simp niche rap and all and we see some changes here and there on a very low key way from drake but it's not out in the open and it's not in a flashy "gang bang" type of way.

Also don't forget Baby and those guys were rocking blue heavy then red heavy later on

Yes Baby and them are real ones not denying that part

the short answer is that he's an agent of the devil whose job is to draw people closer to the hellfire.
As such, he will not do anything that uplifts people.
He could use his fame and clout to end hood beef in Toronto, but instead, he perpetuates it by casting people against one another.

When drake says "wassa wassa", he is referring to this guy - a known serial killer
Officers seen ducking for cover in dashcam video viewed at inquest into 2015 police shooting

when he says GG, he's not talking about Gucci, he's referring to this individual
Arrest Made in Murder of Jerome Belle

Now imagine the hundreds of kids from the other side in Toronto that are basically being antagonized for the purpose of American credibility.

Basically, he has no intention of promoting any good whatsoever for anyone other than himself. and the result, if you have any sense, is the destruction of lives.

Same reason Chris Brown and Lil Bow Wow and Pee Wee Herman and Hibachi 69 and whoever else bang Blood and talk tough when they got friction. Money is everything to these street vultures, as long as the Prince is Drake's backbone he can front all he wants...and he will continue to win in the industry too because the industry people are probably scared to slow down on the Drake spins and looks and shyt. Prince gave him the cheat code, it's not his corny ass or even the music really, it's the business and people being scared to move on from him. That little nerd got Apple, J Prince and who knows what other liaisons he's built at this point backing him, he feels invincible

Even Lil J knows there's a line. That's why the gag order. And now Drake's whole vibe is boxed in, because he can't do what he wants to do without messing up the money. He's going to have to play Bieber-style until the contract's up - and even then if you think Cash Money is letting that income stream go easy you're dreaming - and it's killing him because he wants to run with the wolves...and he has none.

Nobody's out here willing to die for Aubrey. Stop it.

Kid actor turned rapper turned gangsta
Fakest muthafukka alive
He got the machine behind him though

A lot of rappers who are heavily pushed by the “machine” are fake and are being pushed by false images to make fans fall into that novelty of making them look “real”. Guys like Eminem, Ross, Wayne etc.
