When democrats lose this alley oop election, will they learn from their mistake or are they too arrogant to care and fix the issue ?

You made a statement, I asked you to back up your statement. What exactly are you struggling with here goofy?

It's obvious you didn't understand my original statement because 5 replies later, you still haven't ask any relevant question specific to my original post

Don't be ashamed or embarrassed to ask for clarification. You don't have to puff up your chest for an anonymous audience

ok, clarify what you meant.

The Democratic party post Obama has spent the last 8 years running on a "At least we ain't Trump" campaign. It's lost it's identity in Trump-mania. They are very tone-deaf on why Trump is so popular. Instead they have spent the last 4 years talking about Trump, which indirectly fuels his popularity, which makes him a "martyr" or a "victim" in the eye of his supporters

Democrats should have spent the last 4 years propping up a formidable candidate in the media that would run in 2024 that had their own fanbase, identity, message, and pop culture support

No they haven’t. They’ve put out numerous policy positions and have achieved a booming economy with historically low unemployment and basically ended inflation coming off the worst pandemic and economic downturn since the great depression,

Everything you said is abjectly false. Kamala had a debate with Trump and slaughtered him on every key issue. Did you miss it?

Your premise is wrong. Never mind that, can you tell us what candidate you would materialize to take on Trump 4 years ago?

Or maybe the Democratic party should not have a campaign centered around "Well at least we're not Trump" and actually spend 2-3 years building up candidates to the general public that actually promotes their values and can stand on their own with their own fanbase

Just a thought

and thats perfectly OK.

funny how people understood "anyone but Hillary" but now anyone but trump is difficult concept to to understand. :martin:

Democrats one and only job is to keep racist Trump out of office. Nothing after that matters.

and kamala has charisma? :mjlol:

a trump-less election would have been about nothing but inflation and the economy. Desantis, or pretty much any republican with a pulse, would have rolled Kamala. that's a fact

Dems lucked out with Trump sticking around :yeshrug: there's nothing wrong with that. luck is a good thing

desantis didn't come close to taking down trump or nikki haley, he couldn't have beaten Biden or Kamala. :stopitslime:

It's crazy that since 2000, the republican candidates have been W. Bush, Mccain, Romney, Trump and it's still close races outside of the Obama years.

They managed to lose twice against W, lost to Donald "I grab them by the p*ssy" Trump, and are having a close race against convicted felon Trump... :francis:

At some point you gotta look inward and question why is it so hard to win against shyt candidates. I personally think the "culture war" was lost in the late 90s/early 2000s.
Majority of his voters are voting for him solely cause he represents white supremacy. There still a lot of white people in America

the Dems didn't really make a mistake. Biden fukked them out of having a real primary, only to step down anyway :snoop: it's all Biden's fault

if we had a real primary in 2023, the voters actually deciding in all 50 states, Kamala wouldn't have won. it woulda been some ticket like Gavin Newsom/Gretchen Whitmer, that had a better chance of beating Trump

i still think kamala will win, but it's closer than i'd like :snoop:and Trump is pretty much the only republican she could have actually beaten :mjlol:

She'd smash DeSantis :mjlol:
