You're right but this was never going to happen. Biden was the incumbent.
Another thing that should have been made clear to people is that the DNC donors and superdelegates have way more power than the wants of the overall electorate. The DNC will continue to pump out trash candidates every one online claims to hate as long as the donors are paying them to do so
