when, johnson was at the height of his boxing prowess.
plus, roy fought johnson weight depleted and with his body's physiology completely out of whack.

which roy did just to chase history.
as, that was all that there was left legacy wise for roy in boxiing to do.

they all have asterik's beside them.
as there is a much larger story to the losses than just what is printed on the box.

yet, it still ties into the story.

bhop complained for years about a rematch with jones.
which eventually happened as the high drawing last match in roy's career.
yet, the same argument that bhop had about roy.
the same could be said about johnson and bhop as well.
so, when people say jones never refought bhop or jones ducked bhop for so long.
the same could be said about johnson/bhop.
in that they fought early and johnson wanted a rematch, and it never occurred in the time frame to elevate johnson.
just like bhop felt he needed and should have a return bout against jones, in that same time frame.
