Watched the original last weekend and it doesn't work for me the way it did in college but grant it I'm not 19 anymore. Doesn't surprised me that this one bombed. Took too long between this and the first and it wasn't like the first was a huge huge hit to the point where it would stay in people's minds. I can't speak on the quality of it because I didn't see it.

I never said it was trash breh just that I don't think it's as dope now as I did then but that wasn't because of this flopping. I caught it last weekend and it just didn't do the same things for me although it's still a cool and interesting flick

They waited too long to make this movie. 2-3 years after the first, it probably would've done better.
They waited too long for a sequel, the film style is a gimmick (interesting to see once but annoying enough that I don't want to ever see it again), seems to have had very little promotion behind it and the first one wasn't very good anyway.
