sin city ain't no classic. i mean it might be classic to YOU and that's cool and all but it definitely ain't one those flicks that was etched into the public consciousness or nothin like that.

i know the marketing for this movie wasn't the best but if it were a true classic then there would have been more interest in the sequel regardless of when it dropped. bad boys 2 came out 9 years after the first movie too but that shyt didn't flop like this.

in the comic/action/drama/ b movie genrre, yes.
sin city is a classic.
it is one of the few if flawlessly told and executed movies in that genre, if ever.
when told from the a really well executed shortening for feature length to the source material as you could do.
have you listened to the sound and editing on this, joe.
the score and editing mixed together.
how the stories are all interwoven and the payoff's are some of the best, as a gateway to descending quality in severe fashion for that type of b film genre.




next thing people are gonna be trying to say beowulf was not live, too.

Wow..... This is gonna be El Rey status in a month!! And I actually loved the 1st one and been waiting on this one for years!!

I'm still gonna go see it and hope for the best
