That's fair

I updated my post by the way

But seriously when they say this i like to think of it as black men being more adventurous and willing to experiment outside of their racial makeup for mates. Not as a lack of loyalty to black women. While i know i would feel awkward being with someone of a nother race, the heart wants what it wants. And whatever you believe in (creation or evolution) there is no rule that states you must stick to your own kind in the bible nor in nature.

I know it doesnt seem that way but while most black men are willing to date other races, most end up with their own kind. This is true also when it comes to nationality. Jamaican women talk all the shyt they want about jamaican men but still go back to them in the end. Same for black Americans. Haitians, whoever. THis is why i laugh when i see all these black women hate threads all over the place. About 99.9% of these mofos are just fronting and WILL end up with their own kinds eventually. Ive seen it with my own eyes with friends
It's just sad from a black woman's view to see black men lusting after women that's not black. I wouldn't really expect too many men to agree with this anyways.

I'm basically drained with discussing this.

so you're saying your anecdotes mean more than the fact that 90% of black men marry black women? You might think black men are more likely to venture out but that's mainly because black women strongly prefer black men and you won't see them date interracially as often.
No I'm saying from my view point only it means more. Of course the next person is going to go off of research. Doesn't mean I can't find a ton of black men Getty to mess with someone other than black.

You aren't a brother and there's already data on the Coli and other urban forums which indicate that nikkas don't really like Asian women. There are rarely black Coli posters with Asian avatars and most self-identified black Coli dudes don't mention Asian women or make appreciation threads about them. Most of the dudes who do what I described are anime nerds or geeks. The same pattern is evident in real life, which supports my assertion that normal nikkas don't really like Asian women. It's most nerds and weirdos.

I have to co sign this speaking from my experience. I swear on my life, I have never heard a black dude talk about liking Asian women in my life except for ONE time when I was like 20. One of my friends said that he had a strong need to bang an Asian chick and we all looked him like :dwillhuh: (no hate). I never even really thought about it...and that was almost 15 years ago.

Now online is a different story....the first time I really heard it from black dudes was on the Nas forum (:wow: rip) when they were going on and on about em...this was around 01' or -2...all I could do was stare at the screen like :wtf:

Don't really check for certain races but if I had to pick one, black women come in every size, shape and color imaginable. The curly hair kick that has been going on for a while is the sexiest thing in the world too :noah:

I'm done with this topic. Black men gas up white women, Hispanic women and other women like crazy. Well let's just add women who look exotic too. On here y'all want to act like this shyt has no truth to it.. When u see a black and white couple u are more likely to see a black man with a white woman as to a white man with a black woman.

Waits for someone to deny that :pachaha:

Either way my point stays the same. I'm done. :ehh:

Waits to see a black poster make a pawg thread.

Never sees a black woman poster make a thread about a white man:sas2:

I've seen it too....but back in the 90s...I never saw it....except once with a Japanese chick in my HS who had a black father....

but in real life? nah not at all....not until I went away to college in NYC anyway, shyt had me on some :gladbron::dead:...(again no hate....it was just very uncommon to see blacks and Asians get interact at all outside of business in the area that I grew up) but I see it once in a while now in Union Square/East Village

heck, I didn't see my first black female/Asian male couple until like 4 years ago...I think I've seen that about twice in my life.

I believe so. However I'm getting tired of the subject. It's well known that black women are considered the least desirable of all women. That's because other races choose not to fukk with black women as well as a lot of black men choosing not to. It would take nothing to find a black man say he is not trying to mess with a sista. Heck I even know a couple of them who don't. I don't care about the numbers only cause I know from what I've seen.
I don't believe its about being the least desirable more than it is black woman aren't as open to date outside their race. How many are going goo goo for asian, arab, indian and mexican men? white and black tend to be more their preference and it's probably due to culture. In south america are black women the least desirable? if thats the case why do we have entire nations with millions of mixed people like cuba and brazil?

at the end of the day, people just like people.

I don't think I've ever seen a black female/Asian male couple, come to think of it. But it's funny that you mention Union Square, that's what I was thinking of. I've been there many times and saw a decent amount of black men with Asian women, more than black men with white women I would say. I knew one guy who I thought would never get with anything other than black, than he goes to college in the city and starts fukking with Asian girls.

two black parents can still have a light skin kid
look at your own family, I'm sure there's at least one lighter skinned person
to say that you couldn't feel motherly to a kid with a different skin tone is silly, black is black as far as most cacs are concerned. my mom is dark skin compared to me and I doubt she ever had any feelings like that.

How do you multiquote on this dern board?

Anyways, the only reason why you think I'm looking for acceptance just because I responded to the subject matter is because my mindset towards Blackness wasn't instilled in you by your parent(s). My parents are from the old school.

I was not just speaking about light skin. Light skin is totally different than 1/4 "black" people that look straight up white like Victoria Rowell's daughter or someone like Wentworth Miller. Call me racist or whatever you want but I couldn't see myself birthing no Wentworth Miller sorry lol.

If you're fully black , it's unlikely that you could even have Wentworth Miller looking kid, not even if you got with the pastiest cac in the world, let alone with a mixed guy.

To each his own, however, I personally don't see racism and discrimination as a reason for people to date out in hopes of having lighter skin children. The answer to our issues as black people can't simply be 'lets have light skin kids with good hair and create a new generation of lighter blacks so white people like them'. That doesn't help the problem. at all. We are perpetuating the system. The key is the train the next generation of black children on how they will navigate the white world, not just hope we have light one's so don't can't deal with the issues.....light skinned people also experience racism so that solution just isn't realistic tbh.
Quoted the wrong one lol. I dont agree with the making lighter babies so they can have better lives idea either.

How do your parents feel about this? Did they not try and steer them to black women (I remember you saying that they like white women in a past thread)? I couldn't imagine being parents of black children but then see them date anything but.

Well, my mother and uncle are very pro-black. My mom made us watch slave narratives and Black history documentaries as a child. She took us to museums and to Harlem and all the time. However, my grandmother is from a family that praises light skin and "good hair". Everyone I know from her side of the family is light.

Even growing up, we constantly heard neighbor's and classmates use phrases like:

"I dont want to stay in the sun and get dark."
"Girl, your hair is nappy. You got bee-da-bees".
"Eww, you look like an african booty scratcher."

We heard all the negativity but my mom intercepted those messages by trying to instill Black pride as best as she could. Still, she was a single parent raising 3 kids so she couldnt devote as much time as needed. Even so, it takes a toll on you being the darkest in your family, not looking like them or just being different in general.

The main issue I think my older brothers have is that coming from a neighborhood like Jersey City, a lot of black women that they know are loud, obnoxious and ignorant . I feel like they are not so much as color struck as they have confined women to racial stereotypes. Both have previously dated a black girl. But I think they have set their focus on other races because they figure they are less likely to be "ghetto" or trouble.

Well, my oldest brother is getting married in October to a white woman. At first, my mother was saying, " She's not family until she gets a ring". She was still cordial but eventually when she figured that ol girl was here to stay she warmed up to her. My other brother sorta dated a black PK girl but it didnt really get anywhere. They both feel more comfortable around white/filipino circles.

My two younger brothers (different mother) are just young and dumb and no one is really helping them. They are basically learning from their lil friends, tv and radio. I do hope they grow out of it.

My mother and I talk all the time about how she thinks I'm probably the only one who is gonna give her "chocolate babies" because my preference is black men. At the end of the day. she's happy that her children are relatively successful and dont have any records, or baby mama drama.

Short answer: My mother is very pro-black and taught us a lot of our history and culture. However, because of other circumstances my brother's felt they were more comfortable around white/filipino people.
My mother would've loved to have black grandchildren but she is just happy that her kids are happy, healthy with no other major problems.
