It's so sad how over all the races most men prefer their kind the most except for black men.

The OK Cupid study is looking at loser or nerds or something, not average black men. Most black dudes in real life don't like or hit on Asians, yet the study says they do at the highest percentage.

I'm probably the only one on this board that actually prefers Black AMERICAN men while everybody else want Blacks from the Motherland and the Caribbean lols. Black Caribbean would be my next choice.

I couldn't deal with mixed raced kids either. They could come out looking completely White or non-Black and as a Black woman I'm not sure if I could look at a White or non-Black looking child and feel motherly. I need undeniably Black kids with undeniably Black features to make me feel whole and motherly and I couldn't feel grandmotherly towards White or non-Black grandchildren and most mixed people date into white families it seems. Hubby feels the same way too. I know we're in the minority though lols.

Most of my brothers are color struck and that's because they grew up with messages that lighter skin, and straighter hair was better. Teach your children to embrace and value their beauty and culture from a young age, monitor what messages they take in from the media, friends or family. Be the example you want to see.

We need to come together from a place of love and respect and not attack each other. That only causes more animosity and rifts between black men and women. Some black guys abandon black women, some black women give black men a hard time. We are not each other's enemies. We are on the same side.

Instead of attacking, how about we focus on solving problems.

How do your parents feel about this? Did they not try and steer them to black women (I remember you saying that they like white women in a past thread)? I couldn't imagine being parents of black children but then see them date anything but.

You aren't a brother and there's already data on the Coli and other urban forums which indicate that nikkas don't really like Asian women. There are rarely black Coli posters with Asian avatars and most self-identified black Coli dudes don't mention Asian women or make appreciation threads about them. Most of the dudes who do what I described are anime nerds or geeks. The same pattern is evident in real life, which supports my assertion that normal nikkas don't really like Asian women. It's most nerds and weirdos.

look at your own family, I'm sure there's at least one lighter skinned person
to say that you couldn't feel motherly to a kid with a different skin tone is silly, black is black as far as most cacs are concerned. my mom is dark skin compared to me and I doubt she ever had any feelings like that.
