browsing the boxing scene forums, it's crazy how many of these dudes think ward has no chance vs kovalev. another reason why I rarely check those boards. i'm sensing a hopkins-pavlik type exposal here.

The press overwhelmingly said Pavlik would win that time. I doubt that happens with this fight. A lot of super fans may be in for a shock though. I can't wait to see it. It's similar to Hopkins/Pavlik as you have a defensive great against a technical offensive fighter. I think Kovalev is worlds better than Kelly was though. To be fair though, we all know Ward is most likely superior to Hopkins at that point in his career also. No disrespect to Hopkins, he was The Alien for a bit there. Kov is definitely p4p but he has obvious flaws. JDJ is a very good trainer though. Y'all should see what they say about Stevenson on eurocacboxin
I agree with this and plus Boxing is just as much mental as it is physical. Adonis Stevenson and Artur Beterbiev have enough of a mean streak in them and i doubt they are scared of Kovalev at all and that will matter when they fight. Sure i can see why people think Kovalev is the big bad wolf and that he's unstoppable. He's got big power,an grade A prick, doesn't give a fukk and has even killed someone apparently. He is tough no doubt but he isn't as much of an alpha male as people think i can see it
Anyway it ain't that serious for me because i know i'm gonna be on here like 
when they do fight. Here's to a potentially great year of boxing.
