I would agree. The thing is, med school grads don't come out making 100K. They gotta do residency, which is a stressful 10+ hr a day job, and hope they make $50K. For 4 years.
Then if they really want to make money, they gotta another year or two (or three) of fellowship. Which can sometimes pay less than residency.

So for a black male to go straight from high school grad to doctor (with no breaks) is a 12 year ordeal at the minimum.

Them LSA gold diggers aint trying to date broke med students/residents/fellows while they are grinding.

a lot of doctors commit suicide or drop out because of how tough it actually is. I've talked to several doctors who said 90% of their classmates dropped out by year 3 of med school and a lot of them got really depressed while doing it.

OK. Let's then slice it further to figure out how many are first-generation Blacks. Very few Black folks with deep roots in America on Ivy League campuses, brehette. Mainly Black immigrants or first-generation kids with parents from Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Jamaica, etc. Average Black American woman isn't willing to deal with the expectations those types of men have of women. Not to mention the pressure from their families.

So, average Black American woman is hoping for the few African American men who are making $80K and above to wife them up! The numbers just aren't there.

90% is a high number, if not inaccurate number. Med schools ultimately want to graduate their entire class. Its good for optics, future fundraising, and the legacy of their med school.

Doctors quality of life is not as great as people believe. Same with lawyers.

The quality of life of a solid software engineer in Silicon Valley is much better than the average doctor. Solid software engineer in Silicon Valley is pulling $150K, easily, minus all the crazy hours and other shyt associated with being a lawyer or doctor. Not to mention the independent consulting a good software engineer can do. Those nikkas can easily pull $300-400K just sitting behind a computer, breh. They're also more likely to become entrepreneurs of some sort.

Most Black women miss out on those types of nikkas because what they do isn't as sexy as a lawyer, doctor, etc. Those are the types of nikkas who end up with cacs and Asian chicks.

Its always amazed me when some successful women would brag about their accomplishments and question why some men wasn't doing all that they could to go after them.

What some women fail to realize is most men are simple.
We want a woman we're physically attracted to

IDK if your statement applies to NYC. I know very very few black people in IR relationships & I rarely see IR couple in the street. There's over 2 million black people in NYC, it's not hard to find a black person that has common interests. shyt, even the c00ns here have black girlfriends & wives
