What's the hardest level you've ever played on a video game?

Water in TMNT wasnt that hard. Just take the electric shocks when you have to but switch between turtles before any one of them dies. :yeshrug:

Jurrasic park 3 = First level

The controls on this garbage ass game made no sense. To make things even worse the camera angle was all over the place. All the levels were hard.

Good. Game but it was hard for younger me to play this as I was unable to read patterns, horrible timing and lacked pre-planning. If you play the game anyhow Level 2 is hard but once you play properly by 7 gets very hard.

Nioh is probably one of the hardest that I've currently played. There's just so many ways to die stopping you from getting further in the game.

I suck at pretty much most Shoot em ups as they are too fast for me and there are too many projectiles flying towards the aircraft. Shoot em ups are pretty much hard I don't know how people can play the former at the arcades.

So many...but one had me really frustrated as a kid.

NES - Gauntlet this stage.

Honorable mentions
NES - Castlevania III - Final Stage fighting Dracula.
NES - Battletoads...bikes.
Genesis - Gaiares Stage 7 aka the Boss Rush.
SNES - Hagane 3rd stage.
Arcade - Dragon's Lair the part with the snake. Really the whole game.
PS1 - Armored Core "Destroy Floating mines". Without plus enhancements that stage is super hard.
PS1 - Castlevania Chronicles, Stage 5. Yeah, the She-Wolf.
PS2 - Armored Core 2 Another Age 9 Ball Seraph stage.
XBox - Ninja Gaiden, Alma.

The final stage of Dead Space 2. I honestly got kind of bored of it and I only play games at max difficulty. I blew through the last round all the way up to the final boss, but I didn't pick up enough shyt to take him on. Could not finish no matter how many times I tried. Had to crank the level down and call it a wrap.

Now Dead Space 1 had some tough spots like that but I respected the game enough not to cheat it.

I play my Switch as handheld 99% of the time and this level had me ready to throw it at the wall
