To the Asus Zenfone 8, 16 gb ram, 256 gb memory, oled display 4k 120hz, snapdragon 888 processor :wow: My favorite phone I’ve ever had, blazing fast, only thing is I don’t have wireless charging

I knew this would be an apple fanboy thread.

Your post is great timing because just yesterday I was checking the zenfone 8, zenfone 9 and samsung s22 as possible compact phone upgrades from my Xiaomi redmi 7A and Nokia 8 combo (i dont fukk with these huge smart phones that barely fit in your pocket). Can you list the good and the bad with the zenfone 8 you own?

Isn't wireless charging way slower than USB C

Main thing I was worried about was how small the phone was since I have large hands but it really ain’t even that noticeable. i was worried for nothing.

pros: Amazing display and performance (you can customize the performance of individual components of the phone for example you can set the cpu to high performance and the gpu to low, and the RAM to medium). User interface is incredibly responsive (great haptics), ability to multitask (if you like to hop between apps instantaneously, play games), Speakers are really loud and it even has a headphone jack and sd card if you old school like me. That’s why I chose it over the S22. Multiple sim slots.

cons: battery life could be better, no wireless charging, phone is a lil slippery so be sure to have a case or it will fall out of your hand. Fingerprint sensor could be better also

I just got a flip4 lol why do you think its a bad decision

You can always notice the seam in whenever the phone is on...this was/is the same problem with the Fold. That being said, the wear and tear on the seam is going to be very hectic. This is a phone that will annoy users over time just for that alone. Also once it does malfunction, the phone in inoperable, unlike most typical phones wherein they can run just fine, even with a cracked screen. Seam cracks, phone is done.

Beyond that, they didn't really improve anything after the flip 3...which is a major insult at the prices they want users to pay. I still love the design, and its literally where phones will be going, flipping out 6-7 inches of screen while also maintaining the low profile is perfect...now if they can work on the bluetooth and seam problems, it would be my daily driver.

hm, fair. I bought it for the purpose that I think it's where phones are going. and that the zflip 4 was a nice refinement where I could hop on. I'll answer back once I have it ha

but I liked the idea of not needing a tripod to take further pics of my vain ass.

all in all, I thought about it...and said to myself...what really feels like more of an advancement for myself? If I get an s22 i'll essentially be doing the same things the same way i did with the note 10. Whereas the fold is actually a step forward outside of just specs; but how I use it also.

also nobody reacts to the s22 that has an iphone, when you have a fold 4...people want to know about it. even iphone users.

So I pulled the trigger on this over the zen9 (more expensive with lil to no major upgrade) and s22 (no headphone jack is :scust:). Also it has LineageOS support from what I hear so thats a plus. We'll see when it gets here :ehh:

Blackberry pearl to these cookie cutter phones we have now.

I don't really care about the whole android/apple debate.

The biggest reason I don't get an iPhone is because I don't wanna pay for snapchat, Spotify and YouTube.

APK Life
