I ironically need some. I had a bad roach infestation a few years ago but it's come back. I remember I used to see roaches by the pack sometimes. I'd turn on the kitchen light and there'd be like a bunch walking on the walls. I'd use this, and by the next morning a bunch of roaches would be limping on the ground/some dead. That + cleanliness and reparing should fix the problem.

This doesn’t do ANYTHING if your neighbors are nasty.

That’s one of the downsides of apartment living/townhouse living. You can be the cleanest motherfukker. If your neighbors are nasty, you’re affected just the same.

You and your neighbors can be as clean as y'all want. If the building was built a long time ago, the roaches are in the foundation

Depending on how bad the problem is, it will take 6 months up to an entire year (if the whole house is infested)..... and it will be expensive

Timed fumigation (DIY or paid professional).... for example(worst case)

First 6 months: fumigate once per month
Next 3 months: every other month
Last 3 months: as needed (2 times max)

Boric acid can be used as a substitute also.

After every session, lay down insect/rodent trap paper in heavily infested aread or as necessary... in first few months, you'll be changing that paper regularly. After a session, roaches will try to find new spaces to escape the poision and will crawl around. Those traps will pick up any thing the poision doesn't kill.

You'll be cleaning dead roaches daily for a while, but they'll be reduced in 6 months and gone by year's end.

Above the fray.
That's a strainer homes you need to pull the stopper on the bathroom sinks & you need a drain plug for the kitchen sink
drain plugs become a hassle when you get clogs.......mesh strainers are more practical for clogs AND for the topic being discussed..............especially for kitchen sinks

If u live in a apartments then u are screwed, u will always have them BUT u can limit them in your apartment.

Use that stuff that’s comes in a big ass syringe, get like 2 or 3 of them and put that every where they congregate. U MUST not leave any food out though, the point in using the bait is they have no choice to eat that instead of the shyt u leave out.

The good thing about that stuff it kills the eggs and once they take it back to the nest they die too. Also once the roach dies and other roaches eats it, they die too.

This is true, I worked in a nursing home downtown and that building is old and there was nothing that could be done.

Above the fray.
I guess compared to some cases, the situations is a medium sized problem.

.
update?

I thought the roach motel suggestion was the most practical first wave of attack.

Forgot to add that these outlet safety plugs

are a cheap and great tool to stop bugs too.
They're made for child safety, but bugs travel through these plus so this is a good way to block them.

Between tenants, we remove the plates.....use a small pump duster to get borax inside the wall and at the bottom of the outlet box. Then we put everything back and use the safety plugs.

Over the years..we've had to clean up after some filthy MFers, so I have a lot of experience in fighting roaches.
