Don't be cheap.
Hire an exterminator.

Any other option and I guarantee you will see those roaches back next week/month

Above the fray.

A clean house...

nah, seriously,

pick stuff up, make sure you can see all/most areas of your floor...don't give them a place to hide or anything to eat (crumbs, etc)

Keep the place clean and in good repair (patch up holes where they could get in)

You just need some cleanliness. It's right in the Aisle next to godliness :troll:

I wouldn't recommend using bait. I heard that roaches can pickup a scent from miles away...... You probably don't want all the roaches in the community congregating in your home :hubie:

I guess compared to some cases, the situations is a medium sized problem.

I started to see more in the kitchen despite cleaning more often past six months, and doing thorough jobs like getting under the refrigerator (by moving it) and back of stove. I buy basic combats. Switch combats twice in a year, and the problem just gets worse. Now I see them in all parts of apartment, and a lot more in kitchen. I've lived here for 12 years and never had a roach problem, actually rarely ever saw them.

I've never seen a mouse hear, I've never seen a spider or waterbug. Not sure why this is happening.

Tips?

I know the refrigerator is damaged ad the freezer leaks a lot. Sometimes i leave dishes or leave too much water in sink area. I also notice neighbors doing a poor job at recycling, taking out trash properly, and just more litter in building and streets.
I had a roach infestation last year, rachet chick used to say her baby car seat had roaches, and I just used to ignore to fast forawrd she comes over and brings the car seat in my home by a mistake, and a week later my lil ol trailer was infested with roaches, on the floors, ceilings even the carpet when I cut on the lights, I tried all the raid producst, and that ortho home defense which usually was my go too and them roaches ate that shyt like:ahhh:

I thought I had to call a exterminator but I got a tip to use the below:

Its not really for indoor use, but put a scoop in problem areas or sprinkle on your kitchen floor and leave for 2 days, every insect in your shyt will be laying on the floor dead....The thing is its not really for indoor use this smells like rotten cabbage and could be a hard smell to get out your home.....

Really depends on how long the roaches been there. If they’ve set up shop in the house you need boric acid at the least, an exterminator at the most

My buddy bought a car that was infested with roaches :russ:

Used boric acid and it did the trick

Probably the neighbors. I just moved from my townhouse because the roach problem. I'm a clean person. Take the trash out every day, never leave dishes in the sink, clean weekly, hire professional cleaners to clean every 3-4 months but still had a problem. Never had a roach problem in any of my previous places until moving there. Called an exterminator and they came but still had a problem. Finally realized it was a huge infestation in a empty unit below me. The landlord refused to do anything so said fukk it and bounced. Been at my new spot for a few months and no roaches at all.

This doesn’t do ANYTHING if your neighbors are nasty.

That’s one of the downsides of apartment living/townhouse living. You can be the cleanest motherfukker. If your neighbors are nasty, you’re affected just the same.
