What's The Appeal Of Owning Physical Copies Of Games In 2020?

I hate the way Nintendo does it. Since the switch is portable, you should be able to have at least 2 or 3 switches as whitelisted as a primary.

Non primary switches have to login into Nintendo servers before playing digital titles. I have 3 switches and can really only take one them with me.

I need 2tb minimum, the ps4 games will go on an external HDD/SSD

that's on you. i personally don't need that many games. it will be interesting to find out how fast i can fill up the drive.

i think the most you will get is 1TB lol

When I say 2TB, I mean a 1TB NVME plus the 696GB interal storage. I should be good with that for now. Who knows how big these 4K textures are going to be,

to me buying physical lost all it's appeal once publishers stopped packaging in instruction booklets with every game

after that I just looked at it as an antiquated disc in a plastic box taking up space

something about those instruction booklets made it feel more premium & special...

But the discs make you upload all the data off the disc, so that's not even a factor really. Saves you download from your interwebs tho.

Long as your friend has an internet connection, you can just log in on their system and download that way. Granted, a disc will save you a lil bit of time (discs still gotta install the data off, which can take a few minutes)...or a lotta bit of time if ya net is trash.
