What's so special about rushing for a 1,000 yards in a season?

:wtf: shyt don't even make sense

the position as a whole...when a running back had a great game, its more a product of the offensive line than it is the runnings backs "skill"

obviously there are exceptions to this, but as a whole

what type of YPC is this?

Cause Jamaal Charles has had seasons where he had 1,000+ and 5.9 and 6.4 averages.

Jamal Lewis' 2k year he had nearly 400 carries, and a 5.3 average

he's talking the NFL backs as a whole.

Nah gotta disagree with you there, look at Reb's thread about Shonn Greene to see what you need to be an RB, and that's only some of it.

Being able to catch out the backfield and block are also crucial since O-Line play has been so ass this year.

he's talking the NFL backs as a whole.

and last year, we had more 5,000 yard passers than any other year.

but at the same time, with that record average... comes with the fact many teams don't employ one workhorse back..and have one or two complementary backs to go with the starter.

last year, you only had two players who had 300+ carries ..in 05 an 06 you had 10 who had atleast that many...With Larry Johnson having 416 in 06.
