Thing is I don't think it's McGregor/May to assume such is to overestimate the UFC/MMA popularity I think it's a combination of things. We've been burnt by this fight like 3 times and the ghost of 200 still feels raw. And I think ppl would have been more excited if Jones took a tune up showing what he's got left. To just schedule he vs DC off the bat is makes for good business I guess but from a sporting standpoint it seems forced
Outside of Jones/DC I really wanna see this lawler/cerrone fight. I became a fan of Cowboy since he embarrassed Rick Story with that fierce ass punch/kick/punch combo he gave him
While I am rooting for Woodley, Maia scares the living shyt outta me. This dude is a human tumor if he latches onto you, and the worse thing is, he is going to do it whether you like it or not. Fighters know he is not going to throw one punch and just grapple you, but he still manages to do it

If Jones were to lose or get finished he would deserve it for his stupidity but I could never root for DC to win. His arrogance with just getting the belt without beating Jones has been unbearable (the way he constantly cites beating Anderson as a reason he should be considered the goat). If he beat Jones (even under these dubious circumstances) could easily see him retiring. And that would just leave a bad taste in my mouth
I don't think DC stands a chance
