well it could easily go the other way with cowboy/lawler...i'm just thinking robbie's hands and his toughness will give him the edge. and if woodley doesn't finish him, he'll win a dominant decision. it's just a bad match-up.for maia.

maia ain't going to star gaze and be reactionary like Thompson. He doesn't even have to get it to the ground to win he just has to threaten to and be actively in Woods space (whether through strikes or TD att) to wear Woodley down. Ppl want to talk up the wonderboy fights as proof woodley's cardio problem is a myth but he fought at a methodical pace due to Thompson's cautious game plan.

Maia is skilled enough defensively in his striking not to get caught and knows Woodley wants no part of the floor. . Whereas if Woodley doesn't get the KO where does he go from there

When Jones said he made it to the fight, I couldnt help but think theres another day. He seemed like he was xanax or some shyt during the weigh in.
