Class of 92 was 24 years agoI hate to for Man U cos fukk 'em but their academy is anything but trash. Birthed Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Butt Neville brothers with 2nd strings stars like O'Shea, Fletcher, Evans, Brown etc amongst many others, backbone of their most successful era and the England team for the best part of a decade.
Or when Quaresma was considered the "next Cristiano Ronaldo"?
LolHow you "the next X" when you're the older one?
Quaresma wasn't the next CRonaldo.Remember when Joe Cole was dubbed the "British Zidane"?

This isn't too far off.He was aight when he was young. he never developed or lived up to the expectations, but he was legit good when he first started getting tick in the us. i almost think he just finessed the whole soccer thing in order to get US citizenship cause in all his interviews it seemed like his main motivation was getting his fam over here. and that was the reason why he didn't just try to develop in the ghanian system.
that being said i met dude in rumors in philly couple years ago. he was in VIP buying bottles and stunting. i was with some nigerian and ghanian charlies and one of the dudes in our group knew him. he gave some of us a ride in his silver Q7 after the let out. i remember thinking how little and normal looking he was. he was probably the shortest out of all of us, but you could tell he was in shape.
i think the partying may have been his downfall. dude was like the soccer version of AI. ppl i know were always seeing him in rumors, green room, walnut room, trilogy clubbing back then
Quaresma wasn't the next CRonaldo.
Dude was a bigger prospect than Cronaldo was. They were the same age and I think he went to Barcelona before Cronaldo went to United.

Yes our academy is on the come up were going to be giving youngsters full debut towards the end of the season. Roy hodgeson seems to love spurs players now as you can see the starting line up.They are absolutely terrible at giving their youth players a chance not developing the talent. I would think you were correct but teams like Spurs and Southampton are bucking that trend, even Man City at one point looked like it was going to become an elite academy (it still might be but they need to bring through their youth) - we need more managers willing to give English players a chance. Tottenham are doing it and it's paying off, Southampton are doing it and it's PAYING off.
Why that nikka dressed like Mj?
I met someone in MD the other day who says he knows Adu's high school coach. Says there is no way he's the age that he claims he is. They say he had facial hair when he was "12".
Even if he's older than what he is, he still ain't shyt.
