I'm gonna put my Bill Belicek hat on
you have to beat him with a variety of looks
I would run a 3-4, 2-5, 46
you have to run a mush rush to take away the running lanes
spy with a fast safety
mix zone & man coverage
trust your corners against their receivers
adjust your coverages to his tendencies
tackling on first contact is also super impt
easier said than done but I think Belicek could do it
THIS! Everything else I have seen in this thread won't work. The Ravens ain't those Vick Falcons where they were a one man-machine. They actually got a very good team in Baltimore. The best way to beat them is to keep them on the sidelines. Don't let Ingram get his touches, Lamar get his groove, and the defense to have energy into the 4th.Keep their offense off the field
This don't work v. Lamar as it did with Vick. Tampa was the king of camouflaging what it was doing to Vick.Eagles didnt blitz but showed diffrent looks pre-snap and had their D Ends not rush which created a bubble around Vick or could be Jackson.
The defensive scheme mad Vick read the defense and adjust consistently at pre-snap.
You need to get the lead. Preferably double digits
that offense is impossible to stop when it has the lead
I think it's O. Score early, don't gamble, don't give them short fields. Keep their offense off the field. On D, give them Ingram, play a lot of man. Don't get beat deep.
And pray.
You've got to be aggressive on offense; get an early lead on the Ravens(10+ points). Force them to be one dimensional and abandon the run to a degree(see KC's win vs them in Week 3)
If we wanna be allllllllldaway 100
MARK INGRAM WAS THE MVP OF THE RAVENS.
He made that offense move. No Mark today and look at em no running game at all. Lamar might be league mvp but Mark the ravens MVP hands down
Have a good offense and good QB that can wrestle the tempo battle from the Ravens.
In their two losses, KC and Cleveland's offense dictated the tempo and shredded the defense.
But even with the 2 losses this year, that was on the defense. Once they got Peters in the trade and put others at the right positions, the defense has been solidified.
The Ravens defense still has its weaknesses. The last 2 weeks, there were plays to be made, but QB's like Josh Allen and Darnold could not make them. You can run the football on the Ravens D.
