What would be your scheme to gameplan for Lamar Jackson?

It's actually the same as playing Madden.. You have to have your DEs play the outside to force middle, have a LB spy, play man to man.. Do not blitz, do not play zone...
This. You play zone, he's going to the perimeter, and that's where he kills you. Spy and force him up the middle, they will think twice about letting him run after a few hits.

But he's also a good passer so then you have to pray your DBs aren't getting beat. Not to mention your lack of a run defense here
If you take away a his TE’s you handcuff his game. Hollywood is only good for deep bombs and Snead and Fuller aren’t winning a game for you. Jackson can throw but he needs a more consistent wr corps

without thinking, i would probably stack the box with a safety in the middle who spies, and play man to man on the outside. basically a 4-4 defense with a strong safety also playing MLB.

i would align the DE's relatively wide as well hoping that contains any outside scrambles

I would have the other 3 line backers drop back into shallow coverage while having a FS monitor the middle of the field for deep seam, corners and post routes from the TE's/whoever is in the slot.

if hollywood brown gets off on a deep ball i gotta hope the safety can make it there to help. if not...so be it. shyt happens lol

There isn’t a LB in the league that can spy Lamar. He will run right past them...every single time. Sub in a DB to spy and Ingram destroys that shyt. Never mind that fact that Lamar is probably faster than them as well.

that’s literally the simplest defense possible to deal with dual threat QBs. If it was that easy we wouldn’t even be having this conversation right now.

Zone up and force him to dink and dunk down the field and pray that you can hold them to 3 while you score 7

manning up is suicide
