early high school days:

black hair dye
i didnt rock those but that chit was hot

later days:
dikkie suits
dikkie jackets
parkas - in school, i was one of the 1st people rockin that woolrich.
pea coats - now this is a dumbass fad. i hated seeing people rock that sucka-duck chit.

song was hotter than any song Jim Jones had. naw though, jim wore ed hardy, that ain't what I'm talking about. that shyt was NEVER hot at my school. never.

I don't know if anyone else (from the south) use to do this but folks who couldn't afford Tommy or Ralph would go to Goody's and rep Ivy Crew. I look back at all these HS pics of nikkas with that shyt and white jorts/jeans on and understand where they went wrong in life.

my high school was over 90% black so nikkas had that stage property/ecko/rocawear ensemble.

the only reason why dudes would either tuck their jeans in there socks or put rubber bands on them was to keep the dye from your jeans getting on your shoes especially the white air forces.
