Don't worry - there's only so long fake (hip hop) fans can pretend :umad: Kendrick's bullshyt music will not stand the test of time. It will barely stand 5 years. and by 10, it'll be forgotten lightweight shyt :wow:

That article expresses a lot of the cynical thoughts Ive read about Kendrick on here.
:yeshrug:
It all goes back to hipster Cacs becoming much more prominent as tastemakers in the culture.
op is a non African American Canadian, his opinion is invalid. Only AA opinion means anything in hip-hop, it's our culture after all.

I almost get the feeling people wanna make it seem like Kendrick music is made to take advantage of black oeoole and the narrative of a black person. At least he put all his effort and wits in to the album, unlike 80% of most mainstream rappers and at least the album had a fukking underlying concept with the whole " I remember you was abandoned" thing going on, feels like s book, but honestly whatever, in the end he still loves his black people and his intentions was to make an album for us and at least it's an album that a lot of us can relate too, cause I garuntee you if shyt hit the fan and this trap rap doesn't dissapear and lasts another 10 years we'll wish for more TPAB like shyt to be mainstream again

kendrick trash, his verse on 'bad bytches' with drake,asap,2chainz shows his lackluster. dude just rambles with no thought for flow, cadence or slick macho talk.

his for pssy silverspoon surubanites and you know who, ....... only thing dope his ever done is the hook on 'bytches dont kill my vibe' and thats just the first part of the hook. dope hook tho and shout out to taylor swift, win win for both but loss for authentic hiphop bar spitters :wow:

Ehh it has more to do with Kendrick acclaim not translating to real life metrics.

You can't name one rapper who has had the push that Kendrick has had and you can't explain why he's not a bigger artist in real life

Kendrick's from the hood :mjlol:

Why are you and this guy dissing him because a large portion of his fanbase is middle class? That's the foundation of society. It's where most people from the hood want to climb to, and then further. Kendrick drops knowledge to elevate the masses.

Sounds like jealousy, really. Build your own lane.
