Gen 6 and 7 is what a grew up on, so those

6th generation for games

7th for talking shyt and fun memories with the homies

6th for me with 7th not too far behind. Ps2 just had too many classics and Dreamcast might be runner up for favorite console of all time. Also, 6th generation is where I really discovered that I loved fighting games the most those systems had some of the best fighting games ever created.

I also just still really enjoyed playing video games in general in the 6th generation. Most block buster games for the ps2 and dreamcast I bought and played over and over again.

7th is close because simply online play. That feel of playing 1000s of people online was still fresh and new. And I got to really see if I was good at fighting games. Found out I was pretty good in most that I put time into (dominated SC4 ).

I'm also thinking fif. I literally jumped a generation from a Master System to a PlayStation. I still have Tekken and Rival Schools on disc. From 8 bit to 32 bit was a gigantic leap.

I went from playing Donald Duck to Time Crisis.

as much as i loved gamecube, ps3 was the absolute craziest. i even liked lair and that other joint with the soldiers in yellow armor that everybody hated. had a damn ball in gen 7
